We hear that term a lot these days and it seems as if so many people are proclaiming themselves to be coaches these days.
And yes, I’m in that number.
So what is my approach to coaching?
Life coaching is about focusing on your goals
Are you ready for a life coach?
You might be asking yourself this very question. Am I ready? How does having one benefit me? What can I expect?
Are you at the point in life where you’re looking to take some new steps but old patterns, habits, issues keep resurfacing? Do you say you’re going to make a change but find after months and weeks of ready, aim… aim… aim… you still haven’t done anything about it? Are you watching others pass you by in pursuit of their dreams while you feel stagnant?
Life coaching just might be for you. And I just might be the life coach for you. My focus is on the language you use when you talk to yourself. Yes, I know you’ve heard things about people talking to themselves but let’s be honest. We all do it. There is a continuous inner dialogue that takes place in just about everything we do. Some of it is productive but a lot of it hinders us big time! Who do you think you are? Everyone is better than me. They’re all watching me. People not realizing how much this inner conversation ultimately affects us.
I work with you to become aware of this dialogue and more importantly, how to take control of it in such a way that you become more productive and even more satisfied with where you are in life. My coaching is not a one-size-fits all but an approach that is tailored just for your situation and goals.
My philosophy
An important thing to know about my coaching philosophy is that I believe the answers you seek are already in you. They truly are. My aim is to help you identify them and work in a way that they serve you. I’m neither a guru nor a sage but rather someone who realizes that successful coaching requires us to work together as a team. Our times together are truly an exploration as opposed to me telling you what to do. We arrive at answers together.
To me life coaching is action-focused with an emphasis on the now and the future. While the past is important, it’s more about identifying lessons from your past rather than dwelling upon it.
